Jose, different storms lurk on the heels of Hurricane Irma
Last weekend, Category 3 Hurricane Irma pounded South Florida, leaving behind deaths, destruction and wide-spread power outages. This weekend, waves higher than 10 feet may reach the coastline north of the Georgia-South Carolina border, thanks to Hurricane Jose. Ocean swells from Jose will batter Bermuda, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. East Coast this weekend. The storm eventually could graze the Mid-Atlantic, New England or Atlantic Canada coasts, or it may spin completely out to sea. Two other storm systems are swirling in the Atlantic.
