Four people are running to be CNN Hero 2019.
Each year on 8 June, a celebrity hosts a special town hall meeting in New York where the top 10 CNN Heroes discuss the causes and impact of their work.
The finalists include individuals and organisations whose work directly benefits millions of children worldwide.

On the list
50 years after some of the most remarkable people on the planet came together in New York to set up a festival that could be the springboard for a global movement, the #CNNHeroweekend is now 25 years old and is still going strong.
Throughout the weekend, regular people nominated extraordinary people who have impacted their lives through their work. This year’s top 10 will be revealed via a special town hall meeting in New York, hosted by CNN’s Van Jones.
