Homeless man sleeping in an alley beaten by man with skateboard

SAN DIEGO – A fifty five-yr-previous homeless man sleeping in an alley in North Park suffered critical head trauma Saturday when he was struck a number of occasions within the head by a person armed with a skateboard.

The assault occurred somewhat after four:30 a.m. in a south alley, within the 2800 block of El Cajon Boulevard, stated Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Division.

“The assault was unprovoked,” Martinez stated.“Witnesses noticed the suspect fleeing the scene in a white Honda.”

The suspect was described as a 6-foot tall white male between ages 19 and 26 with shoulder-size hair who was final seen sporting grey shorts.

The San Diego Police Division requested anybody with nformation relating to the assault to name them at (619) 531-2000.
