A county’s police are asking for the public’s help to find two men accused of stealing expensive Louis Vuitton luggage from a sporting goods store.
The two men pulled up in two cars to buy one bag each, then abandoned the bags in a dumpster outside the store, police said.
Armed with a gun, they stole at least $100,000 (£83,500) in merchandise over the last month, according to the Marshfield Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
“If you have any information, please contact our Criminal Investigation Division at 715-698-8987,” it said on Facebook.
“Beau Gebrelasse, 46 years old, 5’11” 175 lbs, bald, bushy beard, moustache, and glasses, Thomas Zeberfeld, 47 years old, 5’9″ 175 lbs, bald, or next to him wearing multiple hats, or wearing all black all the time,” it added.
Chicago-area police recently released surveillance video showing a man wearing a red ski mask trying to break into a store. But he didn’t manage to steal anything.
Police said this was an elaborate “inside job” and they are still searching for the thief.
