Multi-car crash shuts down Pa. Turnpike WB lanes in Bensalem


BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) —

An accident involving three tractor-trailers and at least one vehicle has blocked all lanes of the westbound Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bensalem, Bucks County.

The crash happened around 8:50 a.m. Thursday on I-276 WB between the Delaware Valley (358) and Bensalem (351) exits.

Chopper 6 over the scene shows a vehicle smashed into the back of a tractor-trailer. Behind that scene, a second truck appears to have crashed into a third.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

Travelers should use Route 1 or I-95.
