The legendary hip hop band The Juice Band is up there with the greatest ever. Then, Who You With’s character stylings might be popping off with her two partners on the soundtrack.

FOX’s Ashley Papa checks in with co-producer, music composer and actress Yoko Kanno in this week’s “FOX on Love”:

Music Review:

Filled with gems like “Where Do They Get The Juice,” “Got a Lotta Soul” and “Black Is The Colour,” “Cowboy Bebop” from The Sugarhill Gang’s debut album, “The Sugarhill Gang Is Back” captures the disco sound of the era and 1970’s Brooklyn sound. The sound of The Juice Band, featuring future powerhouse, Debbie Harry, created a powerful groove and was well received all over the world.

Kanno, co-producer of “Cowboy Bebop,” and the other members of the group were as diverse as their clothes.

Kanno says she composed “Cowboy Bebop” for multiple reasons including the band’s growing success during the 1980’s including dates at Carnegie Hall and other shows around the world.
