Video shows man struck by hit-and-run driver in West Philadelphia


WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) —

Philadelphia police are asking for the general public’s assist monitoring down two suspects in reference to successful-and-run crash in West Philadelphia that left a pedestrian significantly injured.

The incident was recorded by a surveillance digital camera at four:30 p.m. on October 24.

Investigators say a 25-yr-previous man was standing within the 5600 block of Wyalusing Avenue when a minivan pulled up, then backed up, letting out a passenger.

The driving force then instantly accelerated ahead, hitting the sufferer and knocking him to the bottom.

The driving force fled the scene, heading south on 56th Road. The passenger additionally fled on foot.

Medics rushed the sufferer to Penn Presbyterian Medical Middle, the place he was handled for accidents described as critical.

Police have launched the next descriptions of the suspects:

Suspect #1: Black male with a light-weight brown complexion in his early 20s. He’s 6’zero” tall with a skinny construct sporting a purple t-shirt and blue denims.

Suspect #2: Black feminine, working a darkish blue or burgundy coloured minivan, believed to be a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler City & Nation.
