Woman sexually assaulted in her South Loop home, police say


CHICAGO (WLS) —

A 31-yr-previous lady was sexually assaulted Sunday morning in her South Loop residence, Chicago police stated.

The incident occurred at about 5:forty five a.m. within the zero-one hundred block of East sixteenth Road.

An individual was in custody Sunday afternoon. Police stated costs have been pending.

The lady advised police that the male offender “gained entry to her unit” and sexually assaulted her. The offender ran away when a witness interrupted the incident.
