A man shot dead by police in London was a former Outlaws biker whose wife was critically injured, friends and family have said.
The Met Police was called to a property in the Stockwell area after reports of a man with a gun.
Officers shot the man in a residential street as they responded to the incident.
Witnesses reported hearing several loud bangs as police swooped on the vehicle.

Ms Felix, 43, was critically injured in the shooting, police said. She was taken to hospital, but died later.
The man shot dead, believed to be a 41-year-old from London, was named by neighbours and relatives as Lynne Donnelly.
After being discharged from hospital, Ms Felix died at the scene of the shooting on Saturday.

She had been married to Mr Donnelly, who was a member of the Outlaws motorcycle gang, for 20 years.
The couple lived in Mowbray Road, Stockwell, south London, where they lived with their six children.
Police evacuated the Stockwell address and cordoned off part of Piers Place.

Neighbours said Ms Felix had raised them with “ridiculous amounts of money” but was rarely at home, and sometimes slept in a wheelchair.
One neighbour said he believed “the mum just cleaned the house and maybe she took over the money”.
Another man, who did not want to be named, said the couple had lived in the area for three decades, despite initially settling in the south of France.
“She got her life together and settled here, got her life together,” he said.
“If you could imagine, those kids are hurting right now. His wife’s injured and it’s just very sad.”

Mr Donnelly worked as a fly fishing guide and was reportedly head of sales at Stonehorse Resources, one of the UK’s leading footwear and outdoor clothing retailers.
Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation.
The Camberwell resident said he had known the couple well.
“We all knew them – they lived by ourselves [and] used to hang out in the local pub,” he said.
